On January 12, the 3rd Lingnan Bonsai Exhibition and the inheritance works exhibition of Chen Zhicheng, a representative ICH inheritor of Lingnan Bonsai, opened in the Foshan Ancient Town Exhibition Hall. Chen Zhicheng donated two pots of gold podocarpus to the Chancheng District Museum.

This Lingnan Bonsai Exhibition has exhibited a total of 60 bonsais, in addition to some common tree species like murraya paniculata, podocarpus, hackberry tree etc,. There are also other rare species including Radix zanthoxyli and so on.

On the exhibition, various species of bonsais integrated into Liangyuan Garden have showed a beautiful scenery line, providing a unique experience for the citizens in surrounding areas.

As reported, the Lingnan Bonsai Exhibition is a series regional bonsai exhibition hosted by Chancheng District Museum. Since 2021, the exhibition has been held for two consecutive years, which presented the beauty of bonsai art and made an important contribution to inheriting Lingnan intangible cultural heritage.
