On January 18, Foshan Digital Ceramics Cultural Museum, the first museum of digital ceramic culture in Guangdong, was officially launched in Shiwan Town, Fohan.

Cultural digitalization is an important strategy for China to build a great modern socialist country that is culturally advanced and a necessity as for the transformation and upgrading of the cultural industry.

With ceramics as the theme, Foshan Virtual Ceramics Culture Museum is divided into "News", "Virtual Experience Hall", "Collections", "Exhibition&Activities", "Ceramics Masters" and "Academic Research", focusing on displaying ceramic treasures, exhibitions, researches, cultural and creative products, etc. Additionally, the museum also introduces latest technology like 5G, VR and other forms to attract young people, bringing ceramic culture lovers a fresher interactive experience and viewing effect.

The launch of the museum will greatly promote the the construction of Foshan Ceramic Culture Museum and display the cultural image of Foshan's "Southern Pottery Capital". It will also becomes another momentum for Foshan to promote the construction of "Museum City" and strive to be the leader in inheriting Lingnan culture.
