Various types of tangerine trees have gradually matured. At present, there are about 2,500 mu of tangerine trees in Xianchong, and more than 2,000 growers.

This year, instead of ordering through Wechat or phone call, many customers came in person, selected the dreamed ones, and picked them up at the spot.

The tangerine trees means good luck, and putting them at home is the custom of every family during the Spring Festival. In the era when land transportation was not developed, before the Spring Festival, farmers would ship the tangerine trees to the Pearl River Delta region, Hong Kong and Macao for sale.

With the continuous improvement of the road network, more and more freight vehicles have entered Xianchong, and more tangerine trees have been sent to all parts of the country at a faster speed. Across the tangerine trees field, the opening of Foshan Metro Line 2 provides customers a more convenient means to go to the field and personally buy a pot of tangerine trees.
