On July 13, the China-fashion Sports Park in Foshan New City, the first China-fashion themed park in Guangfo area, officially opened. Covering an area of approximately 18,000 square meters, the park features various zones for parent-child recreation, sports, and other activities, catering to the diverse needs of local residents.
The park is situated in the core area of Foshan New City, which was previously an idle land surrounded by residential communities and financial centers. Since August 2023, Lecong Town (Shunde) has conducted the construction, converting this idle land into a sports park. The project was completed in June this year.
Upon entering the park, visitors are greeted by a vibrant color scheme of orange, blue, and green, creating a lively urban atmosphere. The park boasts two standard basketball courts, a 5-a-side football pitch, as well as well-designed paths and plazas, offering an excellent space for youth-centric sports and activities such as street dance, frisbee, basketball, and football.
Notably, the park also includes the "Exploring the River and Taming the Dragon" Children's Theme Park, featuring activity areas tailored for different age groups, making it a family-friendly destination. Additionally, a designated parent-child area has been thoughtfully set up to allow parents to accompany their children and enjoy the park together.
On the opening day, many parents brought their children to experience the park, where the kids enjoyed playing with the swings and slides. Mr. Li, a resident of Lecong, brought his son to the park after receiving its opening news, complementing that it provides another great destination for family outings.
The park also features an eye-catching little dragon, representing the fusion of dragon boat sports in Lecong and adding a touch of China-fashion culture to the dynamic sports park.
The park not only provides a high-quality venue for sports, fitness, and leisure for the public but also enhances the urban-rural quality and basic facilities of Foshan New City. This all-age-friendly park embodies the spirit of openness, sharing, interaction, and inclusivity, reflecting the community's commitment to creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for all.
