On June 14, the first batch of 92 "Bite of Shunde" (Golden Phoenix Restaurants) were officially awarded, showing the rich cultural connotation of Shunde cuisine to the citizens and tourists.

As a city crowned as the "City of Gastronomy", Shunde has rich food culture. In December 2022, Shunde officially launched the work of promoting Shunde gourmet brands towards standardization and quality certification. Now, the "Bite of Shunde" (Golden Phoenix Restaurant) has been implemented, with the brand influence of Shunde gourmet further strengthened by awarding a number of characteristic brand restaurants.

With the list released on May 18, the awarding ceremony of those restaurants was held on June 14. The first batch of 92 certified restaurants have excellent food quality and service, representing the first-class standard of the Shunde cuisine.

Sprouted in the Qin and Han Dynasties, the Shunde cuisine is shining in the present. After thousands of years of inheritance and improvement, the Shunde cuisine has ushered in a new era of opportunities.

In the future, Shunde will continue to promote the professionalization and the standardization of the Shunde cuisine, and vigorously promote the integrated development of tourism industry with food as the medium.
