On November 3rd, the 4th “Cantonese Chef” Skills Competition and Cantonese Cuisine Industrial Culture Exchange, as a part of the Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was rounded off in Shantou. Foshan delegation took home a total of five awards.
Foshan Cantonese chefs with outstanding culinary skills
The competition attracted 135 master chefs and rising stars from 21 places in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. After rounds of fierce contest, a total of 69 chefs won the prizes.
Foshan master chefs received spotlights
At the opening ceremony, a list of “famous chefs, brands, cuisines” was officially released. Li Yaosu, Manager and Director of Shunde Daban Bridge Farm, and Wu Rongkai, Chairman of Nanhai Wangge Fishing Village enter the list of “Five-star Cantonese Master Chef”, while the other 12 chefs from Foshan were named the “Four-star Cantonese Master Chef”.
