From December 22 to 25, 2022 "Lingnan Taste in Foshan" food festival will be held. There are not only online food discounts but also fantastic offline activities.

Highlight 1: The competition among young chefs

This year, the national level event - Wangzhihe Cup•3rd Competition for Famous Chinese Young Chef Elites (South China Region) is held in Foshan. Nearly 100 young chefs from South China and 12 teams participate in this event. The elite young chefs from South China gather at the event to bring people a visual and tasty feast.

The first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau-Great Bay Area (Foshan) Pre-made Food Competition held at the same time also attracts more than 30 outstanding business units of pre-made food. They will compete for the honor of "Golden Diamond Pre-made Dishes", "Silver Diamond Pre-made Dishes" and "Gold Pre-made Dishes".

Highlight 2: A number of honors awarded on site

To further enhance the construction of Foshan's "Cantonese Cuisine Master" project, support Foshan's Cantonese cuisine culture, and promote the healthy, orderly and high-quality development of the catering industry, a total of 25 Foshan Cantonese cuisine stores and 69 Foshan Cantonese cuisine dishes and snacks were identified in 2022. In order to encourage the newly awarded catering business units, awards are planned to be given at the launching ceremony of 2022 "Lingnan Taste, Foshan Rhythm" catering activities in the morning of December 23rd.

Highlight 3: One stop to taste delicacies of Foshan

Speaking of food festival, how can there be a lack of food stalls? The festival has 40 food stalls themed "Taste from Foshan", "Gift from Foshan" and "Pre-made Food in Foshan". From the traditional Foshan food to the popular pre-made dishes, the festival brings diverse tastes to people.
