From January 13 to 15, a temple fair will be held at WALKIN, Chancheng District. Time-honored enterprises from Shenzhen and Foshan will jointly attend the fair for the first time, bringing a new shopping experience to citizens. There are also lively cultural activities such as Jade Rabbit scenic spot and snowfall concerts, Chinese-style parades, and lion dances.

Collaboration: to build a new consumer center in GBA

Co-sponsored by Chancheng Economic and Technological Promotion Bureau and Foshan Chancheng Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, the event has attracted Industry Collaborative Development Federation of GBA, Shenzhen Time-honored Brand Associations and Foshan Time-honored Brand Associations.

On January 8, Chancheng District officially released a three-year action plan for the construction of a new consumer center in the Greater Bay Area. As the central urban area of Foshan, Chancheng District took the lead to collaborate with Shenzhen, a fashion consumption center city.

Colorful events: to become a hit for Spring Festival

In ancient times, temple fair was one of the grand events among folk. The temple fair of the Foshan (Chancheng) Lingnan New Year Festival is also wonderful. There are 40 stalls, including 20 from Foshan and 15 from Shenzhen.

When citizens come to the temple fair, they can have one-stand experiences like shopping, dining, playing and resting.

Additionally, the decoration of the event is also eye-catching. As 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, the main design will use red as the main color. By integrating the features of Lingnan architecture and cultures, the temple fair hopes to convey the atmosphere of the upcoming new year.
