On April 23, Shunde Daliang Town held a press conference, announcing that the 2023 Croisements Festival Shunde Music Day with the theme of "French-Cantonese Life" will be held during the upcoming Labor Day holiday.

At the conference, Daliang gave detailed introduction to the event. This music day will be held from April 29 to May 1 at Shunde OCT Harbour PLUS. Six popular bands from China, including Soul Conductor, Aquacold and Mover, will cooperate with three outstanding French performance groups, Reptile Dysfunction, Polar Joint and Djang San, to present a audio-visual feast to citizens.

It is worth mentioning that this event has specially invited Djang San, the first French musician composing for Ruan, the traditional Chinese instrument. Djang San will cooperate with Daliang Modern Folk Orchestra to showcase a fusion of French and Cantonese art.

The event will also set up a number of sub-venues to hold French-Cantonese cultural and artistic exchange events, bringing high-standard cultural enjoyment to citizens and tourists in Shunde and the Greater Bay Area. The Daliang Cultural Tourism Experience Officer Program will also be launched, welcoming tourists from all over the country to experience Cantonese culture.

This event is the 9th time that Daliang has cooperated with the French Consulate General in Guangzhou, adhering to the in-depth cultural dialogue between France and Guangdong, and strongly enhancing the cultural integration between China and France. Daliang will take this opportunity to continuously optimize supporting services and comprehensively promote the quality upgrading project of cultural and tourism, striving to be a good promoter of Cantonese culture.
