Nanhai District is preparing for the upcoming May Day holiday with a focus on leisure consumption. They plan to merge beer, trendy water sports, music, food, and camping to promote a series of events that will promote cultural tourism and nighttime economy growth throughout the region.

From April 30 to May 2, the festival, sponsored by the Nanhai District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports and the Nanhai District Bureau of Economic Development, will kick off at Maifest Paulaner, Foshan. The event will run throughout the year, with a main venue at Elegance Mall. There will be 14 sub-venues set up across seven towns, including Guicheng, Jiujang, Xiqiao, Danzao, Shishan, Dali, and Lishui.

Foshan Maifest Paulaner, with two levels of indoor dining areas and a large beer garden, will be the main venue of the festival. The restaurant has introduced professional German brewing equipment to create signature beers.

In addition to authentic freshly brewed German beer, there will be a rich Bavarian-style buffet dinner, as well as various outdoor BBQ, traditional cuisine, and food items that will satisfy even the largest appetite. During the holiday, Foshan Maifest Paulaner will also host traditional German performances, band performances, and interactive games with a mystery celebrity guest.
