To fully explore the solid industrial foundation and unique local customs of Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City, showcase its beautiful natural scenery and profound cultural heritage, and display its remarkable development achievements and charming human landscapes, the "Capture the Most Beautiful Sanlongwan" Photography Contest officially kicks off in August 2024. 


It is organized by the Management Committee of Foshan Sino-German Industrial Services Zone (Foshan Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City) and hosted by Foshan News Network. We cordially invite photographers and photography enthusiasts to actively participate and submit your works to capture the beauty of Sanlongwan through your lens!

Submission Instructions


All entries should be sent as email attachments to the above submission email. Use the file name format: "Work Title + Shooting Time + Shooting Location + Name + Contact Information." The email subject should be "Capture the Most Beautiful Sanlongwan + Photo Type (Single/Series) + Name." Multiple entries should be sent as a compressed package. If there is a special description of the work (within 50 words), please attach a separate text document.

Contest Rules


1. Entries should be themed "Capture the Most Beautiful Sanlongwan" and must be taken within the Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City area. The content should be related to Sanlongwan, captured between August 5, 2023, and August 31, 2024, and include subjects such as the ecological environment, urban landscapes, cultural charm, industrial development, and economic construction.


2. Both domestic and international photographers and photography enthusiasts can participate. Entries that have won national or provincial awards in similar competitions are not eligible.


3. Submissions can be single photos or photo series, with no limit on the number of entries (each photo/series counts as one entry). Photo series (limited to 4-8 photos) should be combined into a single image for submission.


4. The contest accepts online submissions only. Participants should send their works to the designated email of the organizer. Electronic submissions must be in JPG format, color images with a long side of at least 3000 pixels, and the file size between 3MB and 20MB. The original digital photo information (EXIF) should be retained. The image must not contain any marks indicating the author's name or organization; otherwise, the entry will be invalid.


5. Participants should accurately fill in their name, contact information, work title, and description when submitting. Submissions under pen names, pseudonyms, or anonymously will be disqualified.


6. Entries must be original works created by the participant, reflecting true content without fabrications. Computer-generated images and altered originals are not allowed. Photos may undergo necessary post-processing for brightness, contrast, and color saturation while preserving the original image as a reference. Altering the original appearance of the work by adding elements, removing or changing backgrounds is prohibited. Entries that do not comply with the rules will not be disqualified.


7. The contest does not accept collaborative works. Participants must ensure that they have the independent, complete, clear, and undisputed rights to their submissions and do not infringe on the legal rights of third parties, including copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights, and privacy rights. Participants are solely responsible for any legal issues arising from infringements. The organizer reserves the right to remove any disputed photos immediately upon receiving complaints. Any resulting responsibilities, negative impacts, and costs will be borne by the participant. Any losses incurred by the organizers will be the responsibility of the participant.


8. Participants are reminded to carefully comply with legal regulations related to copyright, portrait rights, privacy rights, and reputation rights. If any entry is found to violate these regulations, the organizer will cancel the participant's eligibility. If the prize has already been awarded, the organizer reserves the right to reclaim it.


9.The organizer has the right to use all selected entries for public exhibitions, displays, publications, announcements, and promotions without further notice or payment to participants. All award-winning entries must provide the original electronic file with a long side of no less than 3000 pixels. Failure to do so will be considered a forfeiture of the award.


10. The contest will invite photography experts to form a judging panel to evaluate all submissions fairly and impartially. Shortlisted entries will participate in an online voting activity, and the top 10 entries based on votes will receive the Popularity Award.


11. By submitting an entry, participants agree to comply with the above rules. Non-compliant entries will be disqualified.


12. Winners must follow the organizer's instructions to claim their prizes. Prizes are subject to personal income tax regulations.


13. The organizer reserves the right to the final interpretation of these guidelines.
