Again, comes the school season. The ringing of the bell heralds the beginning of a new term. As the name card of attracting talents and making them stay in Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster, SCNU Affiliated Shunde Beijiao School has been the focus of every parents.

Talents play a crucial part in the development of a place and in its competitiveness. Therefore, residents usually take into consideration about whether a place can attract and hold talents when choosing their living neighborhood. This year, Sanlongwan Innovation ClusterSanlongwan has made headways in education, adding more educational quotas in the fastest speed and improving the teaching quality of the area. It positions itself as the cluster of talents and geniuses.

More building, better hardware facilities.

“when choosing to live in Beijiao, the first thing came into my mind is whether there are high quality of teaching in the area.” Said Zhou Xiyang who worked in intelligent manufacturing. Last year, he moved to Beijiao with his family. In his perspective, Beijiao is the core area of Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster with high quality education, which met his expectation.

In addition of Beijiao School, a group pf newly built or expanded school within Sanlongwan will be put into use in this new term, which marks the beginning of keeping Sanlongwan’s promise of adding new quotas for more students in the fastest way. Take Shunde area of Sanlongwan as an example, this year, 6 schools will be built in Chencun, Beijiao, and Lecong town, taking into consideration of 15 expanded school, and there will be another 5268 students can go to school in the area. Furthermore, these newly built or expanded schools include not just junior high schools or senior high but also elementary schools and kindergartens.

While in Nanhai area of Sanlongwan, 3 schools will be expanded or built to accommodate more 6400 students, and these schools are Wenhan elementary school, the second elementary school of Wenhan (Sanshangang elementary school) and the fourth elementary school of Wenhan (Linyue elementary school). Among these, Wenhan elementary school has been put into use. Sanshangang elementary school will be completed in December this year, and Linyue elementary school has been put out for tender, with the construction duration lasting up to a year.

Improved software facilities, enhanced humanity and arts education

Software facilities also need improving in order to improve the quality of education. As the key dock for connecting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Nanhai area of Sanlongwan will lay more emphasis on humanity and arts education under the background of Greater Bay Area.

Wenhan elementary school is planning to make breakthrough in arts education. “Except for basic education, our school will explore the field of humanity and arts.” Said Zhang Qiqiang, the principal of the school. The school plans to introduce professional arts teachers to deliver better training for students in basic level.

While the second elementary school of Wenhan focuses more on the improvement of students’ ability in learning arts.

With 40 years of teaching experience, the second elementary school of Wenhan has made great progress in chorus. The Egret Choir of the school has been awarded both the gold medal and silver medal for 4 times. They also swept the grand-prizes of the National School Dancing Competition and the National Fitness Dancing Promotion Competition. In the future, the school will still working hard in this field as their characteristics.

As planned, the school will build a concert hall which is the first one in Foshan.
