The Dali primary and middle school robot team consisting of pupils from Yanbu Middle School, Dali Experimental Primary School and Pingdi Primary School, won four prizes at the 2017 Bahrain VEX Robotics Championship, including the first place and second place in the competition and the championship of single technique and the best deliberation.

How imposing is this competition?
The 2017 Bahrain VEX Robotics Championship is the most influential robot competition in the Middle East area, which is held in the capital city, Manama Sports Center and the teams participating in the contest are Bahrain national team and the US army in Bahrain team. And this is the first time to invite foreign team to the competition, which is we Dali team.

The Dali robot team includes Huang Jiayong and Huang Mingzheng from Yanbu Middle School, Xiang Junwei from Dali Experimental Primary School and Fang Hongfeng, Chen Zhuoxuan, Chen Hongbin and Long Zhanni from Pingdi Primary School. The team finally got remarkable achievement after a three-day intense competition.

Yuan Yonghong, the director of the robot team, indicated that the remarkable achievement owed to an ealier training program than other foreign teams. The member also pointed out that, what they have harvested was not just the achievement, and the practice of knowledge as well by attending the robot training program.

It is known that base on the result of wining the championship in this competition, Dali primary and middle school robot team is qualified to attend the 2017 VEX Robotics World Championship to be held in America in April.
