The schedule shows most cities have their secondary school students resume classes on May 11th. But cities including Meizhou, Huizhou, Shaoguan and Heyuan delay the opening date for the Grade 1 students of middle schools and high schools.

As for primary schools, most cities have their students return in two or three waves. Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Yangjiang, Qingyuan, Zhanjiang and Jieyang have their Grade 1 to 3 students back to school on May 18th, Grade 4 to 6 on May 11th.

In addition, Guangzhou also released the schedule for the university and college students:

After May 11th: Senior students

After May 18th: other students of universities and colleges (Schools will have their students return in different waves based on their student characteristics, local status and medical supplies.)

Schools which meet the requirement to resume studies should bring their teachers back to school one week in advance of the opening date so that they can prepare for the new semester and set up measures for epidemic prevention.

The city has yet come out a plan for kindergartens and special schools. Training agencies must not start any offline activities before the kindergartens resume.

The provincial department indicated that schools should strengthen their management and equip themselves with sufficient medical workers and supplies to prevent further outbreaks.
