1月17日，佛山市邮政管理局发布温馨提示，提醒市民在收取进口和国内中高风险地区快递时，应减少与快递外包装的直接接触，佩戴好口罩及手套，并做好消毒措施和手部卫生。
On January 17, Foshan Municipal Postal Administration reminded residents to avoid direct contact with the outer packaging of the items from overseas and domestic middle and high-risk areas for COVID-19 by wearing masks and gloves when unpacking packages, disinfecting the parcels and keeping hands clean.

根据北京市新冠疫情防控第267场新闻发布会通报，进口邮件快件存在疫情输入风险，疫情防控形势复杂严峻，佛山市邮政管理局提醒市民：在收取进口和国内中高风险地区快递时，应减少与快递外包装的直接接触，佩戴好口罩及手套，并做好消毒措施和手部卫生。
According to the news briefing of the 267th press conference of Beijing COVID-19 prevention and control, packages from overseas may cause importation of COVID-19 virus. Considering the complicated and severe situation of COVID-19 prevention and control, Foshan Municipal Postal Administration reminded residents to avoid direct contact with the outer packaging of the items from overseas and domestic middle and high-risk areas for COVID-19 by wearing masks and gloves when unpacking packages, disinfecting the deliveries and keeping hands clean.
1.尽量选择无接触配送，可以请快递员将快递放在智能快件箱。
1.Please choose contactless delivery if possible. The delivery staff can be advised to put the packages in the smart parcel delivery lockers.
2.在取件时要戴好口罩、一次性手套，不用手碰触眼、口、鼻等部位。先使用医用酒精或含氯消毒液喷洒或擦拭包裹（含外包装及内物品）。
2.When receiving the packages, please wear masks and disposable gloves and avoid touching eyes, mouth or nose with your hands. Disinfect the outer packaging as well as the items inside with alcohol, chlorine and peroxide disinfectants.
3.尽量就地拆封，外包装不要带回家，按照生活垃圾分类处理即可。
3.If possible, please unpack the packages on site and do not bring home the outer packaging, which can be classified and handled as domestic wastes.
4.取完快递后及时按照“七步洗手法”认真清洗双手。

日前，深圳市疾控中心发布提醒：非必需，不要从境外高风险地区购买商品；谨慎购买国内发生本土疫情所在地区的商品。

深圳市疾控中心在1月10日的新闻发布会上表示，根据流调和病毒溯源结果综合分析，本起疫情为境外输入引起的本土疫情，暴露于境外新冠病毒污染物品引起感染的可能性大。
The recent COVID-19 outbreak in Shenzhen is likely caused by contaminated imported goods based on current epidemiological investigations, said the Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Jan.10 in a press conference.

新冠病毒不能独自存在环境中，它通常附着在一些物体上，存活的时间受很多因素的影响，比如气温、湿度及载体种类等。如果用手触摸了被病毒污染的物品，再接触鼻腔、眼睛等黏膜，容易导致感染。新冠病毒很容易被酒精、含氯消毒剂、过氧化物消毒剂等常用消毒剂灭活。
The CDC said that the virus causing COVID-19 cannot persist in the environment without being attached to something, and its survival time is affected by a variety of factors such as temperature, humidity and the type of carrier.
People are easy to become infected by touching virus-contaminated items with ones hands and then touching the mucous membranes of the nose and eyes. The virus can be easily inactivated by commonly used disinfectants such as alcohol, chlorine and peroxide disinfectants.
