Guangzhou CDC reminds us that influenza vaccination is the most economical and effective way to prevent influenza, which can reduce the harm caused by influenza-related diseases. It is recommended that residents in need complete the vaccination as soon as possible to get effective immune protection.

Since it is currently the end of the 2022-2023 influenza vaccination season, the vaccination sites may have run out of their vaccines. Guangzhou CDC recommends that residents consult by telephone in advance.

It's advised that people who have been vaccinated after June 2022 may not go vaccinated for the time being. The new vaccines for the 2023-2024 flu vaccination season will be on the market after August 2023.
