In accordance with the Chinese custom, many people enjoy a bowl of noodles on their birthday as a symbol of longevity. During National Day holiday this year, "National Day noodles" has become a hit among Chinese.  Eating National Day noodles  has become a new folk custom for many Chinese to celebrate the occasion. Seldom in Chinese history has some two thousand people eating noodles together, let’s see what’d happened.

近日，佛山三水芦苞独树岗村千叟宴如期而至。近2000位长者齐聚一堂，共享千叟宴，同吃国庆面，共祝祖国好。让我们一起去看一看。

Recently, the dinner banquet of Dushugang Village in Sanshui, Foshan, was served as expected. Nearly 2,000 elders gathered together to share the feast and enjoyed the National Day noodles to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Peoples Republic of China. Lets take a closer look.
