　　How did you celebrate New Year? In Foshan, some people chose to enjoy a New Year concert to welcome 2020. Lets take a look.

　　在2019年的最后一天，2020佛山新年音乐会在琼花大剧院奏响。青年指挥家张亮联袂上海爱乐乐团、著名男高音歌唱家王丰、花腔女高音甘露露等为佛山观众献上一台视听艺术盛宴。

　　On the last day of 2019, 2020 Foshan New Year Concert was staged at Qionghua Theater. Young conductor Zhang Liang from Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the famous tenor singer Wang Feng, and the coloratura soprano Gan Lulu presented an audio-visual feast for Foshan audiences.

　　佛山新年音乐会始于1990年，是全国首个城市新年音乐会，此后每年的新年音乐会都会邀请国内顶尖的乐团和歌唱家演出。2020年，佛山新年音乐会迎来“三十而立”，30年来，音乐会奏响了无数经典乐章。

　　Foshan New Year Concert dates back to 1990 and is considered as the first urban New Year concert in China. Since then, Foshan New Year Concert has invited top domestic orchestras and singers to perform. The year of 2020 marks the 30th year of Foshan New Year Concert. Over the past 30 years, the concert has played countless classic movements.

　　Looking back at the 30-year New Year concert, those long-lasting ancient ballads and pleasant and classic tracks were wonderful and unforgettable.

　　In 2003, high-pitched singing of Liao Changyong resounded through the theater.

　　2010年，岭南童谣《月光光》与西方交响合作

　　In 2010, Lingnan nursery rhyme "Moonlight" was staged in cooperation with Western symphony.

　　2017年，佛山新年音乐会独创《乒乓球协奏曲》

　　众星闪耀 醇享之夜

　　star-studded concert shines the night

　　指挥家张亮和上海爱乐乐团再次回归佛山新年音乐会，以一曲《威廉·退尔》序曲，拉开这场年度高雅盛会的序幕。

　　Conductor Zhang Liang and the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra returned to Foshan New Year Concert once again, with a prelude to "Guillaume Tell" to kick off this annual elegant event.

　　整场音乐会以“乐声三十载”“致敬经典”和“共祝新年”三大篇章展开，打造“经典乐章醇享之夜”。

　　The concert started with three chapters of "Thirty Years of Music", "Tribute to Classics" and "Celebrating New Year", creating a classic musical night.

　　自1997年首次合作，时隔22年后，著名男高音歌唱家王丰再次登上佛山新年音乐会，带来了《祖国慈祥的母亲》《我的太阳》和《我爱你中国》。

　　Since the first cooperation in 1997, after a lapse of 22 years, the famous tenor singer Wang Feng has performed in the Foshan New Year Concert once again, bringing "Motherland", "My Sun" and "I Love You, China".

　　著名的花腔女高音甘露露除了带来经典曲目《春天的芭蕾》，还演绎了一个需要上发条的机器木偶。有观众对此印象深刻：“机器人在唱歌，但是在唱的过程中可能出了点故障，指挥和首席便又给她上了发条，整个表演非常诙谐！”

　　In addition to bringing the classic song "Spring Ballet", the coloratura soprano Gan Lulu played the role of a machine puppet that needed to be wound. Some viewers were very impressed by this, saying that the robot was singing, but there may be something wrong during the singing process. The conductor and the chief wound the robot again, and the whole performance was very witty!"

　　“一个城市连续30年举办新年音乐会，让我非常的惊讶。佛山人很早就接触新年音乐会，非常有情怀，希望把这个传统传承下去。”青年指挥家、上海爱乐乐团副团长张亮表示，希望以后有更多优秀的乐团来到佛山，给佛山人民带来精彩的视听盛宴。

　　"Im very surprised that Foshan has held New Year concert for 30 consecutive years. Foshan people listened to the New Year concert very early. " Zhang Liang expressed the hope that more outstanding orchestras would come to Foshan in the future to bring wonderful audio-visual feasts to Foshan people.

　　佛山新年音乐会已经陪伴佛山人走过30载芳华，成为了城市文化品牌，在年复一年的精彩演出中，佛山新年音乐会带给了观众无数惊喜。

　　Foshan New Year Concert has accompanied Foshan people for 30 years, becoming a city cultural brand. Through the wonderful performances year after year, the Foshan New Year Concert has brought countless surprises to the audiences.
