第11个“中国旅游日”刚刚过去，520民间情人节又来了！“岭南味 佛山品”“三江汇流 醋处精彩——2021三水呷醋文化节”5月20日在三水区芦苞镇隆重启动。
As the 11th "China Tourism Day" was just wrapped out, we were more than ready to celebrate Network Valentines Day on May 20th. On this lovely occasion, Foshan hosted the "2021 Sanshui Vinegar Culture Festival" in Lubao Town, Sanshui District, as themed on "Taste Lingnan Flavor in Foshan" ("岭南味 佛山品") and "Three Rivers Meet, Vinegar Comes in Essence" ("三江汇流 醋处精彩").
“乐”启三水呷醋文化节
A unique musical opening to the festival
三水呷醋文化节启动仪式主会场在三水芦苞蔡氏大宗祠举行。醒目的是，一缸缸乌黑发亮的醋埕将作为特别道具，一支乐队以醋埕作为乐器之一，进行敲击演奏及歌曲演唱，表演一出别有声色的“醋埕敲击乐”，乐曲时而铿锵有力，时而委婉缠绵，听得观众如痴如醉！
Sanshui Vinegar Cultural Festival was kicked off on an opening ceremony at Cais Ancestral Hall in Lubao, Sanshui District. As eye-catching as it seemed, a shiny black vinegar tank was featured as a musical instrument on the spot. Used on a percussion performance and a song rendition, this special prop created a distinct "vinegar tank percussion". The sound went sonorous and powerful for a while, and became more stripped-down and lingering as it proceeded. The audience was fascinated by it all.
活动主办方表示，醋埕作为三水“臭屁醋”酿制的重要载体，承载了食物的精华、酿制者的匠心、食客的期待。
Reportedly, vinegar tank serves as an important tool for brewing of "Smelly Vinegar" in Sanshui, which epitomizes delicacies that was prepared, a spirit of craftsmanship upheld by local chefs and expectations from diners.
520下的“浓情醋”

在520这个爱的节日里，启动仪式上专门邀请三水区各个群体代表，分别登台亮相，各自讲述与三水“臭屁醋”的爱的故事。他们中间有93岁的长寿老人的“长寿醋”故事、牵手大半辈子的金婚夫妇的“浓情醋”故事、新生母亲的“滋补醋”故事、新三水人的“包容醋”故事等等。
On the occasion of Network Valentines Day, delegates of various groups in Sanshui were invited to share their loving stories about "smelly vinegar". The most touching ones are a 93-year-old senior that found secrets in "longevity vinegar", a golden wedding couple who bonded over "loving vinegar”, a woman that became stronger with "nourishing vinegar" after entering motherhood and new settlers that found acceptance and warmth in "embracing vinegar".
他们的分享，也引起了台下观众的共鸣，大家都说，三水的臭屁醋，不仅仅是长寿醋，还是浓情醋、滋补醋，更是一种包容醋，让天下人来到三水都会爱上它。
Their sharing related a lot to the audiences. Everyone said "smelly vinegar" in Sanshui not only stands for longevity, but also enduring love, nourishment, and social acceptance. People all over the world will just love it when they come here.
热舞颂三水“乡情”
Hot dance to express love for Sanshui
启动仪式表演的舞蹈节目《醋·娃》，舞蹈由芦苞镇实验小学编排，20名小学生的精彩舞姿，生动展现了儿童们对长寿醋初闻、初看、初尝的体验，从初始抗拒到最终热爱的心理过程，把“臭屁醋”的家乡传统美食文化表达得淋漓尽致。
A dance performance titled "Vinegar Kids" highlighted the ceremony as well, as it was choreographed by Lubao Town Experimental Primary School. The dance depicted a journey of local kids towards vinegar in Sanshui, including their first smell, first look, and first taste on it. Their emotions and feelings towards it have shifted during the process - they resisted it first and grew fond of it ever since. Their love and passion for local food culture was well captured by the show.
“三水区臭屁醋饮食联盟”成立
"Sanshui Smelly Vinegar Diet Alliance" was born
启动仪式上的重头戏之一是“三水区臭屁醋饮食联盟”正式成立，一共首批有长四嫂农庄等10家三水区优质“臭屁醋”餐饮店加入。今后，联盟将通过制定三水“臭屁醋”行业标准、申报非遗等，定期举办各种推介活动，推出各种优惠手段，集体打造和推广三水“臭屁醋”饮食品牌。启动仪式还同步发布三水“呷醋地图”，市民游客可以按图索骥，寻找正宗的三水“臭屁醋”美食。
One of the highlights on the event was the founding of "Sanshui Smelly Vinegar Diet Alliance" (hereinafter referred to as "the Alliance", which included 10 high-quality "smelly vinegar" restaurants in Sanshui ("Changsi Sao Farm" was upon the list). Up next, the Alliance will work on industrial standards, and intangible cultural heritage applications. It is expected to organize various sale promotions and consumption discounts in a way that develops a brand of "smelly vinegar" in Sanshui. Plus, a Sanshui "vinegar map” was also released and tourists are able to explore the original "vinegar" taste in Sanshui.
而在分会场的三水芦苞长四嫂农庄，来自三水及大湾区各地的游客们亲身体验、订制了各自的专属“臭屁醋”，随后可以在通过佛山电台的180天酿制慢直播，24小时观察认酿的“臭屁醋”从酿制到开埕的全过程。
As for Sanshui Lubao Changsi Sao Farm that was staged at a parallel session, tourists from Sanshui and all parts of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (hereinafter referred to as "GBA") were lucky enough to get their exclusive "smelly vinegar". Later on, they can watch how the vinegar is brewed in a 180-day livestreaming broadcast via Foshan Radio Station. The production process, from brewing to opening, can be seen 24/7 on the platform.
据悉，启动仪式后，三水全面开启长达半年的2021三水呷醋文化节，时间由5月一直持续到10月，期间将围绕历史沿革、食用裨益、情感联结、周边游览等角度开展系列宣传与活动，以美食为核，兴文旅之业，打造湾区美食新高地。
Reportedly, after the opening ceremony, the 2021 Sanshui Vinegar Cultural Festival will last for half a year, from May to October. In between, various campaigns and activities will be presented to highlight "smelly vinegar" culture, in terms of historical background, nutritive values, social connection and featured tours. With iconic local food being the key, Sanshui plans to boost its cultural and tourism industry and grow into a new highland of delicacies in GBA.
