On August 9th, the inauguration of “Nostalgia – New Ear Lingnan Water Village Painting Exhibition (Qiandongnan)” was head in Qiandongnan Provincial Library.

This exhibition has included 60 iconic artworks from multiple professional and representative artists. It will last until September 5th.

Regarding the theme, nostalgia, it has incorporated three main segments. The first is prologue, which includes the artworks from 1970 to 1990. Second one is to present the modern development of Lingnan Water Village paintings, from 1990 to 2010. The last segment is about the current trend, mainly paintings from 2010 forwards. Through the paintings, visitors can feel the love towards the environment in Pearl River Delta, and the pride of its culture and living.
