On January 10, branded by Foshan Media Group, OCT Group and KONKA Group, the Foshan Media K-PARK Cultural Creation Industrial Park debuted at Chencheng district. Focusing such cores as Digital Economy, Smart Technology and Cultural Finance, K-Park strives to promote another collaboration between Foshan Industry and Shenzhen Technology, so as to inject momentum for high-quality development of Foshan.
Covering an area of 15,600 square meters, K-PARK was formerly a production base for Foshan TV Station. With the support of Foshan government, Foshan Media Center officially collaborated with KONKA Group to initiate the construction of K-PARK.
After 300-day construction, this industrial park defined a fresh look. The total construction area is planned to be more than 30,000 square meters. Four functional areas such as digital innovation base, innovation center, industrial incubation and business supporting facilities will be built to provide enterprises with new spaces for entrepreneurship, office, and leisure.
Apart from the one-stop service, preferential policies like rent subsidy, start-up support subsidy, fixed asset investment subsidy will also be given to enterprises.
Collaborations to build icons of integrated development
Foshan Media K-PARK Cultural Creation Industrial Park is the first project jointly developed by Foshan Media, as well as the first key project launched by Foshan Media during the period of reform.
In the future, the park will rely on the media platform of Foshan Media Center and KONKA's mature industrial chain incubation system to provide multi-form and multi-dimensional channels and services for the settled park, support the innovation and growth of enterprises, and help enterprises turn traffic into sales.
Yang Bo, vice president of KONKA Group, said that the original aspiration of K-PARK is to give full play to the advantages of Foshan Media Group in digital media, Konka Group in technology industry, and the profound cultural heritage of Foshan. K-PARK strives to cultivate more cultural IPs to further expand the ecological resources in digital industry, promote collaborative innovation of industrial chain, focus on cultivating talents in digital innovation, and help Foshan build a digital economy innovation cluster. So far, the park has put forward the direction of digital cultural tourism, pet paradise, smart health care, meta-universe, VR, games, film and television training and so on.
The first batch of 16 enterprises to settle in K-PARK
At present, K-PARK Park has attracted more than 80 enterprises of digital new media, cultural creativity, design, new energy, teaching and research and other enterprises.
According to Sun Yonggao, Founding President of the Professional Certified Trainers Association (Macau), he said many enterprises and individuals in Macao want to seek chances at the Greater Bay Area, however, they can’t find suitable channels. And K-PARK Park is a good opportunity and platform.
He added that in the following collaboration, they will not only introduce Macao resources to Foshan, but also bring back mainland’s good experience and practices in developing short videos, live streaming and other industrial fields.
