2023 Shishan Aerospace Science and Technology Experience Center Public Open Day
Date: July 22-July 30 (except July 24)
Opening time: 9:30-11:30 AM, 14:30-15:30 PM
Registration: The center adopts a pre-registration system, with no charges involved. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be closed once the maximum capacity is reached.
Tips:
There is a limit of 100 people for half a day, with two batches in the morning and two batches in the afternoon, each consisting of 50 people. The specific arrangements are as follows:
Morning: 9:30, 10:30
Afternoon: 14:30, 15:30
Venue: Changhua International Commercial Center – F2, North Building No. 3 (next to the Shishan Stadium), Shishan Town, Nanhai District
Parking guidance:
(1) You can enter the underground parking lot at B1 from the entrance of Changhua Commercial Center P3 parking lot, then take the elevator in the B1 Cultural Center lobby to the first floor and walk up to the second floor.
(2) Pedestrians and people in electric bikes can directly enter the first floor of the Experience Center (next to Shishan Stadium).
Immersive Space Journey with Multi-dimensional Exhibitions
Shishan Aerospace Science and Technology Experience Center, located in the North Building No. 3 of Changhua International Commercial Center and adjacent to Bo'ai Lake, situates in the core area of Shishan town.
Covering an area of 2,700 square meters, the Center is jointly built by the governments of Shishan Town and Nanhai District and the China Academy of Space Technology.
The second floor serves as the main exhibition area of the Center, featuring ten major aerospace science and popularization displays including "Journey to Mars," "Flying to the Moon," "The Secrets of the Solar System," "The Road to Space," "Space Show," "Expedition," " Starry Sky," "Sky Passage," "Launching from Earth," and "Space Life."
Furthermore, a dedicated area for astronaut training experience is set up here, allowing visitors to immerse themselves into a day of an astronaut's life.
In addition, the exhibition areas of the Center also incorporate cutting-edge technologies such as infrared touch system, AR/VR experiences, somatosensory interaction, and special science theaters, offering visitors realistic space experiences more than just visual observation and breaking the boundaries between dreams and reality.
