Recently, 2024 National U-Series Youth Men's Water Polo Championship concluded in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, attracting over 200 athletes from 9 teams to participate. Foshan Youth Men's Water Polo Team had a wonderful performance in this event as they won the second ranking and the youth team won the eighth ranking.

Looking back on the competition, although the young athletes of Foshan Water Polo teams have not attended any competition for nearly nine months since last time, they still gained a good score and valuable experience from this event due to their continually adjusted tactics and good teamwork.

All members of the Foshan Youth Men's Water Polo Team are selected from different schools in Foshan. Since the 1970s, the first Foshan water polo team was set up. Foshan has trained numerous outstanding water polo talents, providing strong support for the development of national water polo. In 2002, the Foshan water polo team won the championship at the 11th Guangdong Provincial Games. It was the first time that Foshan surpassed that of Guangzhou, which 40-year monopoly of the prize, in water polo, bringing honor to Foshan.

The competition solidifies the foundation for the training of Foshan's young water polo talents. In the future, Foshan will continue to inherit and promote the traditional culture of Chinese water polo, further enhancing the reputation of Foshan water polo.
