On January 19, Hurun Research Institute released a list of Hurun China 500 Most Valuable Private Companies 2021, including 5 Foshan corporations - Haitian Flavouring and Food Company Ltd., Midea Group, Country Garden Service and Country Garden.

Foshan ranked 17th nationwide this year based on the total number of listed enterprises and decreased by 3 compared with last year. Among them, Haitian Flavouring and Food Company Ltd. was valued at 505 billion yuan, ranking 14th on the list. Midea Group ranked 16th with its latest valued at 489 billion yuan. The two companies of Country Garden ranked 93rd and 100th respectively.

In addition, Country Garden Service and Midea Group were listed in the "Top 10 of Chinas top 500 enterprises with most employees", with Country Garden Service having 180,000 employees while Midea Group having 150,000.
