Recently announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Foshan Industrial Internet Base has been qualified as one of thirty-three New Industrialization Demonstration Bases.   

Foshan Industrial Internet is categorised as a “speciality”, meaning that Foshan Industrial Internet has competitive advantages in related professional areas.  

The success in the application is ground on two factors. One is that the industrial internet has been vastly and effectively used in the manufacturing industry. Additionally, because of government support, a bunch of outstanding companies specialising in industrial internet have arisen in Foshan.  

Nanhai: Implementation of “Intelligent Manufacturing Project” 

Due to its earlier start and rapid development, Nanhai District is identified as the major project in the blueprint of industrial internet development.  

Since now, there are 190 projects requesting loans in Nanhai District, with an overall amount of over 3 billion.  

Nanhai District is expected to achieve several goals by 2024, including the intelligent modification of 1 thousand companies, industrialised and informalized transformation for 1000 companies and 10 industry groups, and the establishment of 5 tier-one demonstration factories.
