波兰斯达洛加勒德市概况

斯达洛加勒德市，又称革但斯克旧城，始建于1198年，位于波兰北部滨海省，面积25.28平方公里，人口约5万。

Built in 1198, Starogard Gdański (meaning "the old stronghold") is a town in Pomeranian Voivodeship in northwestern Poland with around 50,000 people living here in 25.28 km².

Starogard Gdański enjoys prosperous industrial development with a lot of enterprises over 100 years’ history, including Polpharma ( the largest Polish manufacturer of pharmaceuticals), Famos (the largest Polish manufacturer of interior furnishing, specializing in the design and manufacture of marine equipment ), Sobieski ( a factory producing liqueurs and vodka, as well as flavored, herbal, fruit and bitter spirits) and EGA (a hand-tools manufacturer，who has traded with dozens of Chinese companies in the past decade) etc.. Apart from the leading companies in the aforementioned industries, Starogard boasts a lot of SMEs in the manufacturing, handicraft and service industries.

佛山市与斯达洛加勒德市的友谊之路

我市与斯达洛加勒德市（以下简称“斯市”）的交往始于2009年。两市互派代表团进行互访，并于2009年底签署了开展友好合作协议书，商议两市在经贸、教育、文化、体育等领域开展交流合作。2014年6月，斯市市长斯塔浩维奇率团对我市进行友好访问，并在广州出席了第二届中波地方合作论坛。在论坛上佛山市副市长麦洁华与斯市市长斯塔浩维奇正式签署两市建立友好城市关系协议书。

Foshan and Starogard first contacted in 2009 and signed the MOU for friendly cooperation at the end of the same year, which laid out the framework for mutual exchanges and cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, culture and sports. In June 2014, Edmund Stachowicz, Mayor of Starogard, with his delegation visited Foshan and attended the the 2nd Poland-China Regional Cooperation Forum in Guangzhou, at which Ms. Mai Jiehua, Vice Mayor of Foshan, and Mayor Stachowicz officially signed the agreement of establishing friendship-city relations.
