Waterway traffic connecting Shunde and HK to resume operation on March 30

The waterway route between Port of Shunde and China Hong Kong City, which has been suspended due to the pandemic, is scheduled to resume operation starting from March 30, marking the first trip from Shunde to Hong Kong since the full travel resumption between the mainland, Hong Kong and Macao.


The waterway route generally takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes. It provides six types of ticket prices, respectively, VIP adult, Business class adult, Economic class adult, VIP child, Business class child and Economic class child. Among them, the price for Economic class adult is 190 yuan per person, and 120 yuan for Economic class child. From 12:00 on March 28, citizens can book the shipping tickets through the official WeChat account "Port of Shunde Transportation" (顺港客运) or make an on-site reservation for tickets after March 31.



Staff from Port of Shunde reminded that Mainland residents should have Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and valid Hong Kong endorsement before boarding At present, Port of Shunde has cancelled the shuttle service. If citizens drive to the passenger port, they can enjoy free parking service.


After the resumption, passengers can purchase ship tickets in advance through two channels, one is the ticket office in Shunde or Hong Kong, and the other is the official WeChat "Port of Shunde Transportation" (顺港客运). In the future, the port will open more ticket purchase channels to facilitate passengers. Passengers should prepare the corresponding documents and verify the validity before traveling, and complete the personal health declaration in advance.
