As announced recently in "Notice on Arrangement of the 25th National Exhibition of Inventions" by Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, the 24th National Exhibition of Inventions will start on November 11 will be kicked off from November 11th to 13th at Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Foshan.

Powered by an inspiring theme of "Invention, Innovation, and Self-reliance", the event will include exhibition halls for prefecture-level cities in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (hereinafter referred to as "the GBA"), which aims to bring new tangible progress for China in rolling out innovation-driven development strategy, empowering itself to be a nation with strong intellectual property rights, constructing the GBA. Ultimately, the annual exhibition is hoped to enhance national technological power and self-reliance in cutting-edge technologies.

Essential to the event this year is the finely-designed "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Exhibition Area" (hereinafter referred to as "the GBA area"), where Foshan China Academy of Invention Achievement Transformation is responsible for installing, and making booths and display panels. This year, exhibitors of this section can get booths free of charge. Enterprises, universities, scientific research institutes, invention-based organizations, industrial organizations and etc. can log on the official website of China Association of Invention (http://www.cainet.org.cn/) for registration by September 30.

Reportedly, the GBA exhibition area boasts an overall space of 5,000 square meters and will be divided into varied parts based on the "9+2+1" city catalog, with each covering an area of about 360 square meters, as an effective way to showcase not only the image of a city itself, but also the most competitive industries locally. In the spirit of encouraging more invention and innovation and enabling more invention achievements and patented technologies, all the projects involved at the show can be submitted as candidates of "Project Award of Invention and Entrepreneurship Award", sponsored by National Office for Science & Technology Awards.

For the duration of the exhibition, China Association of Invention will hire a review committee of various professionals and review all the submissions in accordance with "Awards Measures for China Association of Inventions Invention and Entrepreneurship Project Award". Gold, silver, and bronze awards, and special awards initiated by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and other relevant departments and organizations will be given away. Their rewards vary from medals, trophies and certificates or subsidies.

Started by China Association of Invention in 1985, National Exhibition of Inventions has enjoyed a booming history of 24 years, and has been shaped into a key platform that brings together outstanding scientific and technological achievements and technical skills in China, and enables the transformation of technological inventions.

This year marks the 5th year in a row for the event to be organized in Foshan. To this date, National Exhibition of Inventions has become a household name of Foshan. By hosting the show, Foshan is allowed better chances to connect with top global innovation resources and personnel. Luckily, by drawing more innovation capacity from the event, Foshan is also now on a fast track to forming an integrated layout of "world technology, Foshan intelligent manufacturing and global market".
