On December 12, the 2023 Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City Investment Promotion Conference was held in Nanshan, Shenzhen. This event marks a significant step towards strengthening the deep collaboration between Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City and Shenzhen in the fields of innovation and research and development.

Foshan, rooted in manufacturing, and Shenzhen, with strengths in innovation, R&D, and high-end services, present excellent prospects for industrial complementarity. Notably, renowned Shenzhen enterprises such as Foxconn Industrial Internet, Shenzhen Senior Technology Material Co Ltd, and Qingyi Photomask have chosen Sanlongwan for their development and strategic expansion.

Jiang Qixiang, Director of the Nanhai Area Construction Bureau of the Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City Management Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Guicheng, gave insights into the current development initiatives. Over 32 projects are underway or planned in the Nanhai area of Sanlongwan, covering an approximate land area of 1,1000 mu with a projected total investment exceeding 100 billion yuan. Jiang stated, Nanhai is vigorously fostering an industrial cluster, including seven major directions: chips, electronic sports, digital economy, new materials, new displays, biomedicine, and advanced electromechanical equipment.

During the conference, a strategic cooperation framework agreement was signed, representing a crucial exploration into Foshan's distinctive path of securitizing intellectual property and expanding financial services for diverse technology transformations. The related parties will leverage their respective strengths through enterprise services, industry-research collaboration, and industry-finance linkage to better support company development.

On the same day, the Sanlongwan Joint Investment Center was officially unveiled. Leveraging Shenzhen's R&D capabilities, talent pool, and location advantages, it aims to attract high-quality projects and talent resources from Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Together, they will explore opportunities for industrial transformation, upgrade, and new development, realizing the vision of "Incubate in Shenzhen, Settle in Sanlongwan," "R&D in Shenzhen, Production in Sanlongwan," and "Talent in Shenzhen, Innovation in Sanlongwan."
