The 2024 International Wing Chun Competition will be held from December 12th to 16th in Nanhai District,Foshan City, Guangdong Province, China.

This international competition is open to Wing Chun practitioners worldwide and is organized by the International Wushu Federation and the Wushu Administrative Center of the General Administration of Sport of China. It is co-hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Wushu Association, the Foshan Culture, Radio, Film, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, and the People's Government of Nanhai District, Foshan City. The event features five main categories: Wing Chun Routines, Chi Sao (sticky hands), Power Skill (including IT-enhanced Mok Yan Jong), Wing Chun Combat, and the individual all-around competition. These are based on traditional Wushu principles of performance, training, skill, and combat. Additionally, a Wing Chun Summit Forum will be hosted during the competition, providing a valuable learning opportunity for participants and promoting the global spread of traditional Wushu.

【Registration Notice】

(i) Registration period: September 5th, 2024, 12:00 PM to November 1st, 2024, 12:00 PM (Beijing Time)

(ii) For international group, register at http://wingchun.justtool.com  under "2024 International Wing Chun Competition (International Group)". You can download the regulations and rules for international teams after logging in.

(iii) For domestic teams, register at http://wingchun.justtool.com under "2024 International Wing Chun Competition (Domestic Entrance)". You can download the domestic team regulations and rules after logging in.

(iv) Teams must submit two copies each of the registration form and entry form (printed on A4 paper and stamped with an official seal), one recent 1-inch white background ID photo, a photocopy of both sides of a valid second-generation ID card, and the 2024 International Wing Chun Championships Liability Waiver (Attachment 3) to the organizing committee's email: gdwxdw@qq.com by November 5th. Paper documents should be submitted upon arrival at the event.

(v) Athletes must provide personal accident insurance and a medical examination report from a county-level or above hospital (including ECG, EEG, and blood pressure measurements) upon arrival.

(vi) Registration deadline: November 1st, 2024, 12:00 PM. Incomplete registration materials will not be accepted for the competition.
